童軍百週年 CCF Centenary

九月尾的時候，我的學校慶祝童軍一百週年！我那天被新聞記者影的相片在下一天的報紙上刊出！當天我亦代表陸軍參與在學校教堂的記念儀式。 At the end of September, it was the centenary for my school's cadet force. My picture showing the medal was shown on the newspaper the next day!! Also, I represented our school's army cadets for our chapel service.

剛剛開學一個月，中六生的生活非常忙碌！雖然比上年讀少了四科，但是每天亦有許多家課。開學的時後也不太適應！過去一個月内，我亦參與了許多活動！遲點再和你們分享吧！

It has been one month since school started. Even though I study 4 less subjects as last year, I find that I actally have more school work than last year! I also participated in a lot of actually, which I shall share with you another time! I made this during my DT lessons - a medallion:

不經不覺，二個月過去了！大概因為會考完後放假放得太愉快，連寫Xanga也忘記了！兩個月來最快樂的事情應該都是會考放榜了！我對我的成績感到非常滿意!除了英文取到B以外，其餘的科目都取得A或A*!

Two months have quickly gone past, probably because of the happy moments after all my GCSEs. The most memorable thing happened was probrably the release of my results. I am really happy about them because I have got all As and A*s other than English and English Lit., in which I got a B!

我現在身處歐洲。雖然天氣很熱，但這裏的景色很漂亮!遲點再和你們分享吧!

I am in Europe at the moment. Despite the massive heat, the scenery here is beautiful! I shall share them with you later!

煤氣鎮蒸汽鐘 Gastown Steam Clock

這是已有100多年歷史由蒸氣驅動的蒸氣鐘。它是世界上唯一保留的一台蒸氣鐘。這台2 噸重的鐘每隔15分鐘鳴叫一次。

The famous Gastown Steam Clock was built by horologist Raymond Saunders, owner of The Gastown Steam Clock Company just opposite the clock. He built it in 1977 based on an 1875 design. The world's only steam clock is powered by steam from an underground systems of pipes that supply steam to heat many downtown buildings.

弓湖 Bow Lake

我最近到了加拿大洛基山脈旅遊。其中一個景點是弓湖（Wikipedia）。因為水裡面的礦物，湖內的水真是綠色的！

I went to the Canadian Rockies and one of the attractions is Bow Lake (Wikipedia). The colours are beautiful because of all the minerals in the water!! It is actually green (although it doesn't look like it in the photo)!

你好！實在太久沒有寫了！如果你是我在Facebook或Twitter的朋友，你會知道我近來很忙，這是一個摘要： Hello all! Sorry for not blogging for a while - If you are a friend with me on Facebook or Twitter, you will know that I have been very busy and much have happened since one-and-a-half months ago. Here is a quick summary:

GCSEs
我花了整個6月的準備和應考英國會考。我希望我考得好，現在只有等候放榜的那天！
I have been spending the whole June preparing and taking the so-call "most important exams in the life" - the GCSEs. I hope I have done well - only time would tell how I did!

加拿大 Canada
在香港停留5天之後，由於廉價的機票，我飛往加拿大探望我的父母。一如既往，所以所有我在溫哥華影的照片，可以在我的Flickr網站看得到。After being in Hong Kong for 5 days, I flew to Canada to visit my parents due to the cheap last-minute air tickets (possibly because of credit crunch). So here I am cruising in Vancouver - photos, as always, on my Flickr site.
